Recharging the Future with StoreDot
StoreDot develops innovative and disruptive materials that are based on a unique integration between organic compounds and nanotechnology. Their materials are optimized for the development of fast charging batteries for vehicles and smartphones. Since its launch, the company has made massive technological leaps enabling battery-powered cars to recharge as quickly as traditional cars refuel. In 2017 it introduced a prototype battery capable of fully charging within five minutes and enabling a vehicle to drive a minimum distance of 300 miles.
Kenes (Kenges) Rakishev participated in StoreDot’s first round of funding. At the time the young company was worth no more than $3 million. In their 2017 funding round StoreDot was valuated at $500 million.
